A Georgian Mansion in Hertfordshire

The Brief

The clients were building a new, Georgian style mansion on an extensive plot in a beautiful Hertfordshire village. With three children and a busy social life, they were looking for a room that would cope with a multitude of requirements; space for dining, relaxing with the family, formal entertaining, romantic dinners and chatting with friends.

“The clients had already set their heart on an Aga with an electric module before they came to see me, so that was in my planning from the outset. Their new home had a traditional exterior but a modern, open plan interior which meant that they were looking for something that was comfortable with both styles – a modern English kitchen.”
